Named in honor of the distinguished leader Begum Rana Liaquat Ali, Rana Liaquat Ali House at Girls’ Cadet College Mardan stands as a testament to compassion, excellence, discipline, and achievement. The cadets of Rana Liaquat Ali House exemplify the vision of their namesake, consistently striving for preeminence in all facets of cadet life through unwavering determination and collaborative effort.
Under the tutelage of DS Gulalay Sarwar, the House Mentor, Rana Liaquat Ali House, comprising 43 lady cadets, including two from overseas, has maintained a distinguished record in academics, sports, and co-curricular pursuits, establishing benchmarks for the institution. The House’s leadership, consisting of House Sergeant Lady Cadet Wardah Hassan, Corporal Lady Cadet Urooj Tehsin, and Lance Corporal Lady Cadet Faiza Malaika Safdar, has been instrumental in upholding discipline and fostering a robust spirit of camaraderie among the cadets.
The year 2024 proved to be exceptionally successful for Rana Liaquat Ali House, marked by significant accomplishments that underscore the cadets’ competitive spirit and dedication to excellence. In the HSSC examinations, Lady Cadet Mahnoor Ali secured the top position in the college within the Pre-Engineering stream, with Lady Cadets Fiza Batool and Maryum Shahid achieving notable success in Pre-Medical.
The House further distinguished itself by clinching the Inter-House Basketball Championship, a testament to their exceptional skill and teamwork. Demonstrating remarkable physical prowess, cadets from Rana Liaquat Ali House represented Girls’ Cadet College Mardan in the 15th Korean Ambassador Taekwondo Championship and the Inter-Regional Judo Championship 2025, collectively earning six black belts and four silver medals.
Rana Liaquat Ali House proudly represents Girls’ Cadet College Mardan in various prestigious competitions, including the National Games Islamabad 2024 (Taekwondo team), the BISE Mardan Basketball team, and the inter-college cricket team. Furthermore, Lady Cadet Ada-e -Zahra honorably represented the institution in the Inter-District Naat Competition 2024 and was awarded an honorary prize and certificate.
The cadets’ intellectual and spiritual devotion was further recognized through their top placements in both the Inter-House Naat Competition and the Inter-House Qirat Competition, reflecting their holistic development in character and faith.
